Ecclesiastes 9:11… the race is not for the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favour to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.
Have you ever heard of the saying – being in the “right place at the right time”!
We serve a God who has time and chance in His hands. Nothing happens that He is unaware of and everything happens because He permits it.
And God who holds time and chance in His hands is the only One who can put you in the right place at the right time.
The truth is – as a Believer, so many blessings have flowed into your life not because you were swift or strong, wise or experienced or even because of your skill – it was because God positioned you to be in the right place at the right time. And this is the heart attitude and mindset you need to carry, that you are where you are today because God puts you in the right place at the right time.
This is called the grace (favor) of God upon your life.
The woman with the issue of blood was in the right place at the right time. She had suffered for 12 long years. But because she was in the right place at the right time – she heard and saw Jesus. She put her faith in Him, rather than the world and received what every physician could not give her – health and wholeness!
What are you seeking from the world that only God can give to you?
Blind Bartimaeus couldn’t even see, yet he was in the right place at the right time. He could hear the noise of the crowd. He asked what was going on and as soon as he heard Jesus was coming, he put his faith in that Name and began crying out. He received what the world could not give him, his sight!
God is the God of time and chance. You may not know where all the great opportunities are – but God does. You don’t know what the markets are going to do – but God does. You don't know what your clients truly need, but God does. When you seek after the eternal God, the God who placed all your talents in your hands…that’s when you will discover the “One” who can position you in the right place at the right time.
Daily, seek the Lord. Seek His righteousness and all the things you need shall be given to you. (Matthew 6:33) Every day go into your workplace with this mindset and watch how He positions you in the right place at the right time.
His grace and favor are upon you.
