Meet Our Pastoral Team

Senior Pastors Wayne and Mary Simpson

Senior Pastors Wayne and Mary are originally from Australia and have been involved in pastoral ministry for over 35 years with a passion to raise up leaders and release people into their giftings and callings.

They were the Youth & Young Adult Pastors at Riverview Church in Western Australia for seven years. Asked to lead (the then) youth group of 30 teens, they left corporate careers behind them and grew the youth & young adult ministry into one of Australia’s largest and most impactful youth ministries with over 1,000 youth and young adults. Whilst serving as youth pastors, they sensed a strong desire to plant a church in Asia. They then handed over the youth ministry to their leadership team, and with the blessing of the senior pastors, relocated to Sydney in 2004 to become involved in the church-planting vision of C3 Church under the leadership of Pastors Phil and Christine Pringle for seven years.

In January 2011, they were sent by C3 Church Sydney and founded Grace Revival Church Hong Kong (C3 Church Hong Kong). Six weeks later, on Sunday, 20 February 2011, the church launched its first service at the Cityview Hotel in Yaumatei. Over the years, the church has grown to offer extensive translation services each Sunday with English and Chinese congregations, a mid-week prayer service, connect groups, and online services available weekly on YouTube. We now meet for Sunday services at the Empire Centre in East TST with our offices at the Cameron Centre.

In the summer of 2018, Pastors Wayne and Mary visited New Creation Church and spent time with Pastor Joseph Prince. They were greatly impacted by Pastor Prince’s preaching of the gospel of Grace. Since this time, they have caught the revival of Grace sweeping the world, unveiling Jesus, and are seeing the fruit of grace as it transforms the lives and families of the congregation and beyond. Over the past few years, they have seen countless miracles of healing and provision and received incredible testimonies of transformed lives and relationships through pointing people to Jesus and resting in His finished work at the cross.

Pastor Wayne and Mary love Hong Kong and are passionate about seeing people encounter God’s transforming Grace and building a Grace-based community through physical and online services. Grace Revival Church Hong Kong is anchored in Jesus and living the abundant life He’s called us to.

Pastor Wayne and Mary have been married for over 30 years. They have one son, Jake who graduated from university and now works and lives in Brisbane, Australia.

Pastor Shane Elliot

Pastor Shane is originally from New Zealand and moved to Perth, Australia, where he married his wife Wendi. They have two wonderful daughters, Abbey and Erin. In Perth, Pastor Shane was involved in C3 Fremantle, serving first as a Worship Pastor and later as a Young Adults Pastor.

In 2015, Pastor Shane and his family moved to Hong Kong due to work, and they joined Grace Revival Church the same year. Since then, he has been leading the production team and was ordained in 2023.

Pastor Shane has a passion for raising and developing leaders and seeing men reach their full potential through a strong relationship with Jesus. His heart is to cultivate an environment where everyone can grow in their faith and discover their God-given purpose.
