Pastor Lian bringing the Word for us!
GRC, this is your season for possession! Whatever you have been believing for but have not yet laid hold of—this year, you shall possess it!
At our Grand Opening Celebration, we were so blessed to receive an anointed, grace-filled Word from Pastor Lian from New Creation Church. She declared over us that this is the season to step into all that God has already given us.
But how do we possess what God has promised? It begins with resting in Jesus. The Promised Land is not about striving, but resting. When you rest, you will see God work for you.
Here are 5 key takeaways from this powerful message:
1. This Is Your Season for Possession
GRC, this is your season for possession! The Lord is saying that what you have been believing for—but have yet to lay hold of—this year, you shall possess it.
God didn’t bring the Israelites out of Egypt just to leave them wandering. He brought them out to bring them in.
This is your time to take hold of what has been promised to you
2. Rest Is Your Promised Land
"The Lord your God is giving you rest and is giving you this land." — Joshua 1:13
Rest is your Promised Land. Before the land, God first wants to give you rest.
When the Israelites refused to enter the Promised Land, God didn’t say, "They shall not enter My land"—He said, "They shall not enter My rest" (Hebrews 3:11).
Many think they have to toil, labor, and fight to enter. But God’s heart is to bless you—not through striving, but through His grace.
3. The True Value of Possession Is in Enjoying It
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work." — 2 Corinthians 9:8
Possession is not just about owning—it’s about experiencing, enjoying, and appreciating all that God has given you.
What’s the point of having wealth, a great job, or even a ministry, if you are still oppressed by fear, worry, and anxiety?
God promised the Israelites that they would live in houses they did not build and drink from wells they did not dig. This isn’t cheap grace—this is the extravagant love of your Abba Father.
When you rest, your enjoyment of life expands.
4. When You Rest, God Fights for You
"The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." — Exodus 14:14
When Pharaoh’s army was behind them and the Red Sea was in front of them, Moses didn’t tell the Israelites to fight—he told them to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
Rest does not mean doing nothing—it means trusting in God’s ability rather than your own.
Even when everything seems stacked against you, stand still and see Jesus in your situation.
The Hebrew word for salvation is Yeshua—Jesus! When you don’t know where to turn, look to Jesus. He is your deliverance.
5. Tune In to the Right Voice
There are many voices in the world—fear, condemnation, doubt. But the key is not trying to silence them. The key is tuning in to the one voice that matters—Jesus.
A million voices may tell you that you are not good enough, that you are lacking, or that you won’t make it. But Jesus says:
You are My beloved.
I am well pleased with you.
You are the righteousness of God in Christ.
Instead of trying to fight every negative thought, simply tune in to what God is already saying about you.
