Intimacy with Your Source

Sunday Service Recap: 2 March 2025

What an incredible Word from Pastor Rhy!

Church, God is not just your provider—He is your Source! Resources may change, jobs may come and go, but when your trust is anchored in Him, you will never lack. His provision is not determined by the economy, but by His unchanging goodness!

Here are 5 key takeaways from this week’s message:

1. Source VS Resource

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” — 2 Corinthians 9:8

Your job, business, or any financial channel is just a resource—a tool God uses to supply your needs. But God Himself is your true Source! If your trust is in the resource, you will worry when your resource runs low. But if your trust is in the Source, you will never fear lack, because God’s supply is endless!

2. You Don’t Need More Money, You Need More Intimacy with Your Source!

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33

Worrying about money is a sign that we are trusting in resources instead of trusting in God. Instead of chasing after provision, seek Him! As you deepen your relationship with Abba Father, provision naturally follows.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, what’s the truth about my finances? Give me a word, a picture, or a knowing. What’s the lie I’ve been believing about my finances? I renounce that now and align my heart with Your truth.

3. Prosperity Starts with Who You Have, Not What You Have

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” — 2 Corinthians 8:9

True prosperity is not about how much money you have—it’s about who you have! When you have Jesus, you have the richest supply of all. When you focus on the Source, His resources overflow in your life!

4. Abba Father Wants His Children Abundantly Blessed!

“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” — Matthew 6:26

God doesn’t bless you because you’ve done everything right—He blesses you because He loves you! You are His child, and His heart is always for you. Your provision is not based on your performance, but on His unchanging love!

Pastor Rhy encouraged us to declare:
“Lord, let Your hand be upon me. Let others see what it’s like to have God as my Father!”

5. God Wants His Children Prosperous Because It Is a “Reflection” of Who He Is!

“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face shine upon us, that Your way may be known on earth, Your saving power among all nations.” — Psalm 67:1-2

God wants you prosperous because it reflects His goodness to the world! When people see the abundant blessings in your life, they see a testimony of His faithfulness and love.

Declaration:
“Lord, bless me, so that Your ways may be known on the earth! Let my life reflect Your goodness and faithfulness.”

6. Seek God and His Vision, Not Just His Provision

“And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:9 (AMP)

Provision follows vision! When your heart is after God’s kingdom, you don’t have to strive for financial blessings—they will follow you! When you seek God’s vision, provision is His responsibility.

Declaration:
“Lord, I seek Your vision, not just Your provision. You are responsible for supplying every need, and I trust You completely.”
