I stand firm on the Word of God

Two years ago, my daughter who worked in Dubai was diagnosed as bipolar with major depression. The doctor advised that she needed to take medicine for the rest of her life. Being a Christian, I knew the healing power of communion and anointing oil, so I asked my daughter to take communion and apply anointing oil daily. I believe in what Isaiah 53:4-5 says, that Jesus took up our pain and bore our suffering, and by His wounds, we are healed!

Recently, my daughter decided to resign and relocate back to the Philippines. Due to the pandemic, she needed to undergo a 7-day quarantine in a facility. During this period, she felt like a prisoner, silence and loneliness slowly pushing her back to depression, and she started to act like if she was possessed. During her seven days of sleepless nights and no proper eating, her situation got worse daily. As a mother, it's so heartbreaking to witness my child in such a condition. The first thing I did was seek the Lord. I prayed and I rebuked the enemy and the disease. There was a time I even asked God, "Why is it happening to us?". God answered me through Pastor Wayne's Daily Devotion and reminded me that I should put on the full armour of God so that I can take my stand against the enemy’s schemes (Ephesians 6). So I stood firm on the Word of God, for I knew "No weapon formed against me shall prosper." (Isaiah 54:17)

I was relieved when quarantine was over, but the enemy was desperate and messed up my daughter's mind again. My family were concerned and sent her to a mental hospital. But I kept declaring that SHE DOESN'T BELONG THERE!

I thanked God every day and I left it all in God's hands and trusted Him. The Lord spoke to me again in Psalm 91, and reminded me that I was standing under the shadow of the Almighty God and that nothing could harm me. I did not need to fear or worry about my children because, by faith, I was standing in the shadow of God's protection.

Few weeks later at her doctor’s check-up, I declared and prayed for full healing upon my daughter. God is good, my prayers were answered, she's completely healed and highly favored! And now she even found a new job in the Philippines. Praise God!
